BK Heart provides a full range of specialist cardiology services for patients across Alexandra Hills, the Redlands and Bayside Brisbane, from initial consultation through to diagnostic testing and ongoing condition management.
Our three service areas cover the full patient journey:
Specialty Services are the clinical conditions and areas of cardiac medicine we assess and manage, including heart failure, hypertension, ischaemic heart disease and cardiac prevention.
Diagnostics are the tests we perform on site to reach an accurate diagnosis, including ECG, echocardiography, stress testing and Holter monitoring.
Cardiac CT is available for patients who need detailed cardiac imaging. Scans are performed off site, with results reviewed and explained by our cardiologist here at BK Heart.
We aim to keep the time between referral and appointment as short as possible, and diagnostic testing is available on site so most patients avoid being sent elsewhere for scans.
Our cardiologist brings fellowship level training in cardiac imaging and public hospital experience at Logan Hospital and QEII Hospital to every consultation.
We use contemporary echocardiography, ECG and stress testing equipment on site, supported by cardiac CT reporting for patients who require more detailed imaging.
