Dr Neelabh Sharma is a Cardiologist with a special interest in multi-modality cardiac imaging, complex echocardiography, stress echocardiography, 3D and structural transoesophageal echocardiography (TOE), and Cardiac CT. He currently holds public appointments at Logan Hospital and Redland Hospital. After completing his cardiology training at Princess Alexandra Hospital in 2023, Dr Sharma undertook a fellowship in cardiac imaging, further advancing his expertise in the use of advanced diagnostic imaging techniques for cardiovascular care.
Dr Sharma has a particular interest in the assessment and management of chest pain, heart rhythm disorders, valvular and rheumatic heart disease, and heart failure. He is committed to delivering evidence-based, patient-centred care, taking the time to understand each patient’s individual needs and working collaboratively to provide comprehensive assessment and management.
We understand that heart health concerns can be worrying. Our scheduling is structured to see referred patients promptly, with diagnostic testing available on site to avoid unnecessary delays between assessment and results.
Our cardiologist holds public hospital appointments at Logan Hospital and QEII Hospital and has completed dedicated fellowship training in cardiac imaging, providing depth of experience across echocardiography, stress testing and cardiac CT interpretation.
Consultation and diagnostic testing, including ECG, echocardiography and stress testing, are available in the one Alexandra Hills location, so most patients complete assessment without travelling elsewhere.

Your cardiologist will review your GP referral, discuss your symptoms and medical history, and may recommend diagnostic testing such as an ECG or echocardiogram. Testing is available on site.
