Dr Neelabh Sharma is a consultant cardiologist with a special interest in multimodality cardiac imaging. He holds public appointments at Logan Hospital and QEII Hospital. Dr Sharma completed his cardiology training at Princess Alexandra Hospital in 2023, followed by a dedicated fellowship year in cardiac imaging.
He has advanced expertise in complex echocardiography, stress echocardiography, three-dimensional and structural transoesophageal echocardiography (TOE), and cardiac CT. His clinical interests include the comprehensive assessment and management of chest pain, rhythm disturbances, valvular heart disease, rheumatic heart disease, and heart failure.
Dr Sharma is committed to delivering individualised, patient-centred care. He is actively involved in medical education and currently serves as a Senior Lecturer at Griffith University.
BK Heart is located at Shop 38/71 Cambridge Drive, Alexandra Hills, with off street parking on site. We are a short drive from Cleveland, Capalaba, Wellington Point, Thornlands, Birkdale, Ormiston and Redland Bay, and accessible from the Bayside busway network.

Yes. We see patients for initial cardiac assessment as well as ongoing management of existing conditions such as heart failure, hypertension and ischaemic heart disease, in coordination with your GP.
Dr Sharma’s clinical interests include the assessment and management of chest pain, rhythm disturbances, valvular heart disease, rheumatic heart disease, and heart failure, with particular expertise in cardiac imaging including echocardiography, stress echocardiography, TOE and cardiac CT.
